10 Reasons I Would Rather Be in London...
1. There is ALWAYS something to do! It could be midnight and there will be as many people on the street as there is at noon.
2. Galaxy chocolate bars. Oh my gosh I can't even talk about them without drooling! Mmmmmm.
3. Awesome accents. Let's face it, everything sounds better in a British accent ,yeah?
4. Piccadilly Circus( see pic above, which I took btw :-p) It's beautiful and has the biggest HMV I have ever seen in my life! The pic is what you see as soon as you come up from the Underground station. Speaking of which...
5. The Tube. Definitely the best way to get around and it's like a different world down there. Mind the gap! Don't obstruct the doors! Next stop: Baker Street!
6. Red. Red buses, red telephone booths, red post boxes. It's seriously everywhere. Nothing says London like a big red bus.
7. English Hello!. It kicks Canadian Hello!'s bum. It's twice the size and half the price( even with exchange rate). And call me weird but English news print smells soooo much better...just sayin'.
8.No tax. Well, there is but it's already calculated in the price. So if the chocolate bar you're buying for the fifth night in a row costs 1 pound, you give the cashier 1 pound. What a concept! I don't know about you but I love paying for things with one coin!
9.THE HISTORY!!! Most buildings in London have been there waaaaaay before Canada was even discovered! The Tower of London has been there since the 10 00's!
10. One Direction lives there. You knew I would mention them at some point!;-p. Any city where there is a chance of running into 1D is pretty awesome.

That Awesome Moment When...
...You're reading the blog post of someone who got to go to the 1D concert and moping cuz you didn't get to go, when What Makes You Beautiful comes on the London( yes the one in the U.K) radio station you are listening to. Of course then you need to belt out the entire song, right? Plus what if the boys were listening to the same station!?!

Whatcha Listening To?: The Sequel
Hi all! I've been thinking about doing this post for a bit so here it is.:-p
Has anyone heard of Ed Sheeran? If you haven't you're missing out! He is a British singer who just recently released his album + (yes, that's the actual name! Lol) here in North America. He is very popular in the U.K but unfortunately he isn't as well known on this side of the Atlantic.
Hmmm... how do you describe his sound. He is kind of like and English John Mayer but different again. Kind of folk-y but not really. Wow great description, huh? I really, like A Team, Lego House and Kiss Me but I have to say Give Me Love is my favourite. Take a listen:

One of the things I really like about this album is the variety of styles. The sound is really unique.
I was reading a story on Wattpad a couple weeks ago and the author posted a song called Kiss Me Slowly by Parachute. I loved it! Here is if you want to check it out:
I went on Vevo to check out some of their other stuff and it's really, really good but no one I've talked to has heard of them. I haven't got the album this song is from but If I do, I'll review it here.
Have any of you guys heard of Parachute?

Na na na na na na, Wattpad!
(That's supposed to be to the tune of the Batman theme in case you are wondering :-) )
A few months ago I started posting stories on a really cool website called Wattpad. It's basically like YouTube but for stories. So I thought it would be a good idea to post the link for my profile here:http://www.wattpad.com/user/Brezzer93
Pleeeeaaase go check it out and tell me what you think!!!

Props, dude!
So it has come it to my attention lately that it really sucks when people hate on things that you like:-) So, in the intrest of fairness and to make sure I'm not doing the same thing to anyone else, I'm taking this time to give props to stuff( and people) who bug me.
Props!
...to High School Musical for making us all aware of Zac Efron, and thus making the world a little easier to look at!
...to the slow person ahead of me in the line in Wal-Mart for giving me more time to look at the magazines!
...to Miley Cyrus...ewww I can't do this...for being engaged to Liam Hensworth. You know how to chose 'em!
...to Nicki Minaj, for reviving the wig-making industry!
...to math class,for...ummmm...never mind.
...to Orillia, for making me appreciate a real mall!
...to colds, for making the times when I don't have a cold seem soooo much better!
...to Bill Nye the Science Guy, for letting me fall asleep during science class!
...to Glee, for making singing cool again!
...to Justin Beiber for the song Maria, which is about the whole ' Justin Bieber is my baby's daddy!' thing. It's pretty gutsy and also pretty catchy!
...to school for making me realize how great it is to not have to get up at 6:00am!
And finally.... props to anyone who has ever read this blog( not because you annoy me;-p) but because YOU ARE AWESOME!!!
P.S Shout out to Brookyn because she looooooves the above picture and to Miranda, just cuz!

My Heart's a Stereo...Not a Stereo-Type
Usually when you're in High School you do everything you can to fit in. When I was in High School I did the opposite. I was terrified of being just another stereo-typical teenager. And that's fine. I prefered history and reading to pretty much anything and I still do. I didn't want to be another giggly self absorbed girl. I wanted to be different.
But here's the thing I've learned over the last few months: being diffrent and being different for the sake of being diffrent aren't the same. Example: If I saw a cute shirt at Stitches I wouldn't buy it. Not because I didn't like it but because eneryone bought their clothes there. But here's the thing, ladies and gentlemen: not doing what you want because everyone else is doing it is just as bad as doing something because everyone else is. You with me?
In the book I'm reading the main character said she would rather be in the library reading a book then discussing lipgloss and movie stars. Which is cool. But my question is: why do you have to choose? Can't you like books and lipgloss? I certainly do! We have this misconception that you have to be one thing or the other. You have to fit into a slot. But I like all sorts of things because there are all sorts of sides to my personality. I'm the girl who is perfectly content(prefers sometimes) to sit alone in my room with a book and a cup of tea. I'm also the girl who plays 1,2,3 with her friends at Wonderland and giggles until her sides hurt. I can be both. I'm the girl who reads Shakespeare and Seventeen magazine. I'm the girl who loves One Direction and Green Day and Elvis.
I'm so done with choosing one over the other because I'm worried people won't think I'm different enough. I always thought being unique would get me noticed but I would rather just do whatever makes me happy. I'm all sorts of things so why just choose one?
Nowadays I get that shirt at Stitches and rock it my way. I feel free to admit that I strongly suspect Justin Beiber is talented even if he bugs me for some reason I can't put my finger on. I buy the gossipy magazine and the novel. Because I don't have to be anyone or anything but ME!
